SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University and the University of Puget Sound have rescheduled their softball doubleheader that was rained out on March 15 in Salem, Ore. The doubleheader will now be played in Tacoma, Wash., on Monday, April 14.
Willamette and Puget Sound already had a scheduled doubleheader set for Saturday, April 12 in Tacoma. The Bearcats will play at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma on Sunday, April 13, then extend their trip one more day to play the rescheduled games.
When the Bearcats and the Loggers meet on Monday, Willamette will be designated the home team in both games, since the doubleheader was originally scheduled for the WU Softball Field.
