Willamette versus Puget Sound Doubleheader Rescheduled for Sunday

Bearcats and Loggers will Play at WU Softball Field at 1 p.m.

SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University and the University of Puget Sound will play a softball doubleheader on Sunday, March 25 at the WU Softball Field to make-up two games rained out in Salem, Ore., on March 11. The rescheduled doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. (PDT).

The Bearcats are 11-8 on the season, with a 10-4 record in the Northwest Conference. Puget Sound is 2-18 overall. The Loggers are 2-12 in the NWC.

With Sunday's games added to the schedule, the Bearcats and the Loggers will play each other in two doubleheaders in eight days. Willamette is slated to play two games at Puget Sound on April 1.

Alex Watilo has achieved an 8-3 record with 46 strikeouts in 62 2/3 innings pitched this season.
