Willamette and Whitworth will Play Make-up Games on March 28 and 29

SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University and Whitworth University have rescheduled all four games that were rained out this past weekend. The teams will play doubleheaders at the WU Softball Field on Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 29 to complete the postponed Northwest Conference series.

On March 28, the Bearcats and the Pirates will begin the first game at 1 p.m. (PDT). On March 29, the teams will start the doubleheader at 2 p.m. (PDT).

Willamette's current record is 5-1 overall and 5-1 in the NWC. Whitworth is 9-3 on the season and 6-2 in the NWC.

Prior to facing the Pirates, Willamette will play several games in Southern California during Spring Break.

The Bearcats are set to open take on Occidental College in a doubleheader on Sunday, March 20 at 12 p.m. (PDT). Willamette will play two games at St. Katherine College on Monday, March 21 at 12 p.m., and will battle Pomona-Pitzer in a single game on Tuesday, March 22 at 4:30 p.m.
