Good, Hall, Kisiday, and Noffsinger are Named Academic All-District

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University women's swimming team has four student-athletes who have qualified for the 2023-24 NCAA Division III Academic All-District Women's Swimming Team, sponsored by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Willamette's selections were Tatum Good (Jr., Scottsdale, AZ/Scottsdale Prep Academy), Jacqueline Hall (Jr., Bainbridge Island, WA/Bainbridge HS), Alayna Kisiday (Jr., Silverdale, WA/Central Kitsap HS), and Emma Noffsinger (So., Arvada, CO/Northglenn HS). Good and Hall received Academic All-District recognition for the second year in a row.

A panel of CSC members will determine which Academic All-District honorees are eligible to be selected for the NCAA Division III Academic All-America Women's Swimming Team. The Academic All-America Team will be released on Tuesday, April 23. Players nominated for the CSC All-District Team were starters or key reserves with cumulative grade point averages of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. They participated in at least four meets or placed in the top eight at a conference championship. Each nominated student-athlete was at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing.

On Dec. 2-3, 2023, the Willamette women's team won the Bruin Invitational title at George Fox University for the second year in a row and the third time overall (2018, 2022, 2023). The Bearcats took sixth place at the 2024 NWC Championships with 334 points. It was an increase of 57 points over 2023, and was the highest point total for the Bearcats since 2010.

NCAA Division III Academic All-District

Headshot of Tatum Good Tatum Good (Jr.) was named CSC Academic All-District for the second consecutive season. This year at the 2024 NWC Championships, she was sixth in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:11.05 and eighth in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:00.88. She earned Second Team All-NWC honors in both events.

During the year, she swam on the 400-medley relay team that moved into fourth on Willamette's all-time list in 4:02.16.

Previously, Good earned Second Team All-NWC honors in the 100-yard backstroke (5th place) and the 200-yard backstroke (7th place) in 2022-23. She was Second Team All-NWC in the 200-yard backstroke (6th place) and the 200-yard individual medley (7th place) in 2021-22. She contributed to the 200-yard medley relay grabbing seventh place on WU's all-time list in 2021-22 with a time of 1:51.06.

Good is majoring in Data Science at Willamette. She owned a 3.71 cumulative grade point average at the end of the 2024 fall semester. She was recently inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma.

Headshot of Jacqueline Hall Jacqueline Hall (Jr.) received CSC Academic All-District honors for the second year in a row. She swam in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, and 200-yard individual medley at the NWC Championships this season. She also competed on 200-yard, 400-yard , and 800-yard freestyle relay teams. She placed 14th in the 200-yard backstroke and was 15th in the 200-yard I.M. She was 19th in the 200-yard freestyle. The 400-yard freestyle relay placed sixth in the NWC. In 2022-23, Hall placed 14th in the 200-yard I.M., while setting a personal-best time of 2:17.85.

She owns a career best of 1:10.66 in the 100-yard individual medley. Her top time in the 100-yard backstroke is 1:05.22 and her best time in the 200-yard backstroke is 2:21.18.

At Willamette, Hall is majoring in Environmental Science. She was recently inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honorary society. She held a 3.98 cumulative GPA through the end of the fall semester.

Headshot of Alayna Kisiday Alayna Kisiday (Jr.) achieved Second Team All-NWC recognition at the 2024 NWC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle (8th place), the 100-yard freestyle (6th place), and the 200-yard freestyle (6th place). In 2002-23, she was named Second Team All-NWC in the 200-yard freestyle (6th place).

Also in 2023-24, Kisiday swam on the 400-yard medley relay team as it moved into fourth place on Willamette's all-time list in 4:02.16. She also contributed as the 200-yard medley relay team registered the fourth-fastest time in school history at 1:50.52.

Kisiday owns a career-best time of 24.86 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, set at the 2024 NWC Championships. She also earned a personal record of 54.01 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle and recorded a personal record of 1:58.39 in the 200-yard freestyle at the 2024 NWC Meet. She was a team captain this season.

In the classroom, she is majoring in Chemistry. She entered the semester with a 3.51 cumulative GPA. She was recently inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma. Kisiday has been a head coach of swimming for Special Olympics Oregon.

Headshot of Emma Noffsinger Emma Noffsinger (So.) competed in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard freestyle and swam on the 200-yard freestyle relay at the 2024 NWC Championships. She placed 12th in the 200-yard backstroke with a personal record time of 2:16.25 and was 17th in the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard freestyle. She set a personal record in the 200 free at 2:05.35.

At the 2023 NWC Championships, she placed 17th in the 100-yard backstroke and was 18th in the 200-yard backstroke. Her career-best time in the 100-yard backstroke was 1:03.63 at the Bruin Invitational hosted by George Fox University in December of 2022.

Noffsinger is majoring in Psychology at Willamette. At the end of the fall semester she held a 3.92 cumulative GPA.
