Teams Plan to Meet on Feb. 18 in McMinnville
SALEM, ORE. -- The Northwest Conference women's basketball game between Willamette University and Linfield College scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 in McMinnville, Ore., has been canceled due to heavy snowfall in the Willamette Valley.
Willamette and Linfield hope to make up the game as part of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in McMinnville. The women's game will start at 6 p.m. (PST), with the men's game set for 8 p.m.
With Saturday's game postponed, the Bearcats will now return to action on Friday, Feb. 14 against Lewis & Clark College. Game time at Cone Field House on the Willamette campus is scheduled for 6 p.m. (PST).
Katie Kalugin is averaging 13.0 points per game. She has scored in double figures in 15 of 20 games this season.
