Hook to Compete for Willamette at PLU Invitational in Women's Golf

SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University women's golfer Meghan Hook (Sr., Sunnyvale, CA/Homestead HS) will compete this weekend at the PLU Invitational, hosted by Pacific Lutheran University at Lake Spanaway Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington. The tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 19.

Hook is beginning her third season on the Willamette women's golf team. She played in all 10 rounds in 2019-20 and saw action in all eight rounds in 2020-21. Schedules for both of those seasons were reduced due to COVID-19.

Head Coach Patrick Daugherty is in his ninth season leading the Bearcats. He also served as Willamette's assistant coach for three years before he was named head coach.
