Hook Places Fifth at Spring Trilogy #3 at McNary Golf Club

KEIZER, Ore. -- Willamette University's Meghan Hook (Sr., Sunnyvale, CA/Homestead HS) took fifth place at the Spring Trilogy #3, hosted by the Bearcats at McNary Golf Club on Saturday, April 2. Hook shot a 103. Willamette, Linfield University, and Lewis & Clark College competed in the tournament. Par was 72 at 5,650 yards.

Willamette was third in the team standings. Linfield won the tournament with a score of 385. Lewis & Clark placed second at 426 and the Bearcats followed at 453.

Ragen Barr from Linfield won the individual title with an 85. Olivia Weaver from L&C was second with a 90, and Tori Schuller from Linfield placed third at 93. Francis Remmick of Linfield was fourth with a round of 100.

Also golfing for Willamette were Alexis Schwartz (Grad., Ontario, OR/Ontario HS), Anushka Srivastav (Fy., Pune, India/Mahindra International School), and Kiki Fierstos (Sr., Redmond, OR/Redmond HS). Schwartz and Srivastav each carded a 114, while Fierstos shot 122.

The Bearcats will play again on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 at the Northwest Conference Spring Classic. The 36-hole tournament will be hosted by the University of Puget Sound at Oakbrook Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington.
