Willamette's Srivastav is Named to Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team

SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University women's golfer Anushka Srivastav (Jr., Pune, India/Mahindra International School) has been named to the 2022-23 NCAA Division III Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team, as voted by the College Sports Communicators (CSC, formerly CoSIDA). Players nominated for the CSC All-District Women's At-Large Team were starters or key reserves with cumulative grade point averages of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Each student-athlete was at their current college or university for at least one academic year.

Each nominee participated in an NCAA sport without its own CSC Academic All-District Team. All of the Academic All-District selections are eligible for the College Sports Communicators NCAA Division III Academic All-America Women's At-Large Team, which will be announced on June 22.

Headshot of Anushka Srivastav Anushka Srivatstav (Jr.) studied abroad in the fall of 2022, but competed in all four golf tournaments in the spring of 2023. She registered a low round of 90 on the second day of the Northwest Conference Spring Classic. Six of her seven rounds were below 100. She has golfed for Willamette over the past two seasons.

Prior to arriving at Willamette, Srivastav helped teach computers and English to persons with muscular dystrophy in India. She was a home tutor for children at her apartment complex in India.

Srivastav is majoring in Psychology with a minor in French and Francophone Studies. She held a 3.633 cumulative GPA through the 2022 fall semester.
