Saida Seelig was recognized by the Northwest Conference as the Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Space City Classic hosted by Trinity University.

Seelig finished 43rd overall in a very competitive field at the Space City Classic that included four nationally ranked teams and six nationally ranked individuals. Seelig carded a 96 in the opening round and followed that up with a 99 for a two-day total of 195.
