NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Willamette University women's lacrosse team has been named an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for the 2024 season. In addition, Kendyl Jennings qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division III Academic Honor Roll as an individual.
325 teams in all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA were selected as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads. The teams had to achieve a 3.2 or higher team GPA on a 4.0 scale during the academic year to receive the award.
The IWLCA honored 1,125 student-athletes from 201 NCAA Division III colleges and universities for their academic success. Each student-athlete qualified for Academic Honor Roll status by being a junior, senior, or graduate student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
