Krassner-Cybulski scored on a flick-header. The play was set up by a pass from Jackie Gilroy (Sr., F, Mercer Island, WA/Mercer Island HS) on a free kick. Krassner-Cybulski leads the Bearcats with two goals on the season.

The Leopards outshot the Bearcats, 12-7 overall, but Willamette earned a 3-1 edge in shots on goal. Krassner-Cybulski took two of WU's three shots on target, while Anika Firehammer (So., F, Minnetonka, MN/Hopkins HS/Albion College) was credited with the other shot on goal. For La Verne, Brianna Wong provided the only shot on goal for the Leopards.

WU goalkeeper Rachel Compton (Sr., GK, Lake Stevens, WA/Lake Stevens HS/Skagit Valley College) stopped Wong's shot and finished the game with one save, while recording her second shutout of the year. ULV goalie McKenzie Maggiore registered two saves.

The Bearcats will play at Whittier College in Whittier, California, on Sunday, Sept. 11. Due to the threat of excessive heat, game time for the Bearcats and the Poets has been changed to 10 a.m. (PDT).
