Abraham, Krassner-Cybulski, and Rodriguez-De La Torre score in Whitworth win

Spokane, WA - Women's Soccer scored three first-half goals to win their Northwest Conference match at Whitworth University.  Nina Krassner-Cybulski started the scoring early with a goal just under three minutes into the contest.  It was Krassner-Cybulski's fifth goal of the season and fourth game in a row with a goal.

Natalie Rodriguez-De La Torre scored goal number two for the Bearcats in the 33rd minute, her first of the season.  A few minutes before halftime, Ella Abraham followed that up with her first goal of the season off an assist from Maddee Reid.

The trio of Willamette seniors each scored their goals on their only shots of the match, while Claire Warthen led the Bearcats in shots with two.  Maddee Reid and Amanda McArthur provided the other shots for Willamette, who were outshot by Whitworth 17-7.  

Sam Borngasser played all 90 minutes of the game in goal for Willamette and recorded her fourth shutout of the season.

Willamette's next match is at Pacific University on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:45 pm.  The Bearcats then return home on Sunday, October 13th when they face the Wildcats of Linfield University.
