Seniors Nina Krassner-Cybulski and Sam Borngasser were named the Northwest Conference Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances in 1-0 wins over Pacific University and Linfield University.
Krassner-Cybulski scored the Bearcats' lone goal in each of the matches and extended her streak of consecutive games with a goal to six. She has the game-winning goal in the last three matches for Willamette. Krassner-Cybulski has seven goals on the season putting her one shy of her career-best eight goals in the 2022 season.
Borngasser was honored for the second time this season as she recorded two shutouts for the week and now had three shutouts in a row and six on the season. She recorded four saves in the midweek match vs Pacific and seven saves in Sunday's victory over Linfield.
