Newberg, Ore. - Women's Soccer put pressure on George Fox throughout the match, outshooting the Bruins 23-11 (12-5 on goal), but were not able to find the back of the net as the match ended in a scoreless draw.

Seven different Bearcats took a shot in the first half as the team outshot the Bruins 12-5 in the opening forty-five minutes.  George Fox goalkeeper Emily Robey made eight saves in the half and was helped out by the left post in the 38th minute to keep Claire Warthen's shot from giving Willamette the lead.

Willamette kept the pressure on in the second half, this time firing off eleven shots to the Bruins' six, but still neither team was able to score as both defenses held strong.  Sam Borngasser played the entire match in goal for the Bearcats and made five saves to earn her eighth shutout of the season.

Claire Warthen led Willamette in shots with six, followed by Nina Krassner-Cybulski with four.  Eleven different Bearcats registered a shot during the match.

Women's Soccer returns home for their next three matches as they host Whitman College on Saturday, November 2nd, and Whitworth University on Sunday, November 3rd.  Both matches will kick off at 1:45 pm.  Their final home game of the season is on Wednesday, November 6th, against Pacific University.
