Good and Kisiday Win Races, 400 IM Relay Finishes First in Dual Meet at Whitman

Walla Walla, Wash. - The women's swim team battled Whitman in a dual meet, winning three races and taking several second place finishes, but lost to the Blues 119.5 to 77.5. 

The Bearcats won the first event of the meet when the relay team of Tatum Good (backstroke), Anna Hornbeck (breastroke), Tessa Ciatti (butterfly), and Alayna Kisiday (freestyle) swam a time of 4:13.27 to win by four seconds.  Both Good and Kisiday followed up with individual wins later in the meet, with Good winning the 200-yard Backstroke and Kisiday touching first in the 100-yard Freestyle.

Kisiday finished second in the 200-yard Freestyle to lead a series of second-place finishes for Willamette.  Ana Kaldy took second in the 1000-yard Freestyle, followed by Elisa MichelsMia Sperbeck placed second in the 50-yard Freestyle with a time of 26.18 and was followed by teammates Leah Howell and Lydia Schmitt in third and fourth.  Tessa Ciatta swam to a runner-up finish in the 200-yard Butterfly and Jillian Price was second to Tatum Good in the 200-yard Back.  

The Bearcats return to the water on Saturday, November 23rd, and Sunday, November 24th, when they compete at the Bruin Invitational hosted by George Fox University.
