Forest Grove, OR - The Women's Tennis team started their season today by competing at the Pacific Invitational. Teams competed in a doubles draw and followed with singles matches between the individuals involved in the prior doubles match.
Pairings for the Bearcats were:
Grace O'Steen (partnered with a student-athlete from Lewis & Clark)
Alexa de Crinis and Ruby Thompson
Lief and Spencer advanced to the semi-finals of the Red draw, while the teams of Sola/Terrab and O'Steen/L&C reached the semi-finals of the second-round consolation of the Red draw.
The team of de Crinis and Thompson competed in the Blue draw and have advanced to the first-round consolation semi-finals.
The team will travel back to Pacific for the final day of the Invitational on Sunday, September 22nd. This tournament is a warm-up ahead of the ITA Regional Championship being hosted by Lewis & Clark College from September 27-29.
