Sophomore Eva Lief was named the Northwest Conference Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance during the Pacific Invitational. Lief, partnering with first-year Sofia Spencer, won the blue draw of the Pacific Invitational this past weekend. In the final, she teamed with Spencer to defeat Elle Garcia and Madi Vianzon of Lewis & Clark 8-6. Then in the singles match she lost the first set to Vianzon 6-1 but battled back to win the second set in a tie-breaker 7-6(7-3) and won the match tie-breaker 10-4.
