Salem, Ore. - The Willamette University women's tennis team suffered a tough 7-0 loss against the Whitworth Pirates Saturday in a match that saw some fiercely fought points, but ultimately fell short.

The doubles matches set a challenging tone, with the Pirates taking all three points.
