Monmouth, OR - Zoe Heino (4th) and Morgan Shaw (5th) led women's cross country as the team finished second at the Ash Creek Collegiate Invitational hosted by Westen Oregon University.  Heino covered the 5000m course in a time of 19:05.76 with Shaw close behind at 19:14.07.

First-year Lillian Courtnage-Dyke finished in 12th place with a time of 19:42.39, followed by Anna Bikle at 20:17.62 in 18th place overall.  The next finishers for the Bearcats were Anastasiia Lemesh at 20:35.75 and Grace Kosmicki at 21:56.02.

The cross-country team's next race will be Willamette's annual Charles Bowles Invitational hosted in Bush's Pasture Park near campus on Saturday, October 5th.
