Independence, OR - Zoe Heino finished 30th overall and helped Women's Cross Country to a 6th-place finish out of 19 teams at Linfied's George Oja Invitational.  Zoe covered the 6K course in a time of 22:44.20.

Morgan Shaw ran a personal-best 23:02.80 for Willamette to finish 37th overall.  The other Bearcats to score team points in the meet were Anastasiia Lemesh (23:30.10), Anna Bikle (23:33.30), and Lillian Courtnage-Dyke (23:54.50).  Other runners for Willamette on the day were Aven Roberts, who came in at 25:16.10, and Grace Kosmicki who ran a time of 26:23.20.

The team's next race will be the Northwest Conference Championships on Saturday, November 2nd, when they will return to the site of today's event, the Oak Knoll Golf Course in Independence, Oregon.
