Independence, Ore. - The women's cross country team finished in second place at the Northwest Conference Championships hosted by Willamette University at the Oak Knoll Golf Course. Zoe Heino finished fifth overall with a time of 22:31.9, followed closely in seventh place by Morgan Shaw at 22:38.2, and Anna Bikle in thirteenth place at 22:42.9.
Based on their finish place Heino and Shaw were named first-team All-Conference and Bikle was named second-team All-Conference.
Anastasiia Lemesh and Lillian Courtnage-Dyke finished with times 23:20.9 and 23:21.7, respectively, to help Willamette hold off Whitworth University and Lewis & Clark College who were the 3rd and 4th place teams.
Grace Kosmicki finished the 6K course with a time of 24:24.4, followed by teammate Aven Roberts at 25:18.7.
The team's next race will be on Saturday, November 16th, at the NCAA Division III West Regional hosted by Lewis & Clark College.
