SALEM, Ore. -- The Northwest Conference has changed its streaming provider from Presto Sports' Stretch Live to BlueFrame Technology. To ensure our users have the best experience, Willamette University has moved to BlueFrame as well.

Willamette joins George Fox University, Pacific Lutheran University, Pacific University, University of Puget Sound, and Whitman College on the BlueFrame Platform. The NWC Network, the new conference streaming portal, can be found at nwcnetwork.tv. From there you can find live video productions for the six participating member institutions. Linfield University and Whitworth University have moved to Sidearm for streaming, and Lewis & Clark College remains with Stretch. You can find links to those institutions at nwcnetwork.tv but the live video will be hosted on their respective platforms.

What this means for viewers varies depending on how you previously watched live events. If you previously clicked on links from our website or on social media, nothing changes. Those links will continue to point you to the correct destination.

If you used the Northwest Conference OTT app on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, or Roku, that app will no longer work and can be removed from your device. A new NWC Network app is being developed with a similar experience for the six participating institutions. Unfortunately, events produced by Lewis & Clark, Linfield, and Whitworth will not be viewable on this app. The OTT app is not yet complete, it will be publicized when it's available to download.

"It's unfortunate that all institutions are no longer on the same live video platform. However, with the majority of the conference moving to BlueFrame we felt our users would have the best experience if our productions were there as well," said Chris Sabato, Assistant Athletic Director — Media. "We will still strive to produce quality coverage for events we host regardless of who is the video provider."

The first broadcast of the year will be on this afternoon at 4 pm when men's soccer hosts Warner Pacific University in an exhibition. Exhibition games may have minimal production. The regular season starts on Wednesday, September 1. Women's soccer plays Corban University at 5 pm and women's volleyball plays Lewis & Clark at 6 pm. Both events can be found on the NWC Network or on The Bearcat Network portal.
