Marv Cisneros was chosen Honorable Mention All-Northwest Conference as a freshman defensive lineman in 1957. He helped Willamette win NWC Championships in 1958, 1959 and 1960. As a junior in 1959, he was a First Team AP Little All-America selection and was named First Team Williamson All-America. He was the only player on the West Coast named to the AP Little All-America Team that year. He also was named First Team All-NWC and First Team Little All-Northwest in 1959. As a senior in 1960, Cisneros was chosen First Team NAIA All-America and was Third Team UPI All-Coast. He was nominated for the Hayward Athlete of the Year Award in Oregon in 1960.
