Chrys (Odell) Randolph was a leading swimmer for the Bearcats. She was a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that won the NAIA National Championship with a meet record in 1983. She earned All-America honors in the 100-yard backstroke in 1982 and 1983. When she graduated, she was the Willamette record holder in the 100-yard backstroke. She was a member of Willamette's 1983 women's swimming team that placed fourth at the NAIA National Championships. She was one of eight swimmers on the team who competed at the championships and scored points for the Bearcats. Odell was chosen as Willamette's Outstanding Women's Athlete of the Year in 1983.
