David Snyder helped Willamette win the NAIA Division II Basketball National Championship in 1992-93. He also helped the Bearcats earn NCIC championships in 1992-93, 1993-94 and 1994-95. During his career, he played in 95 games and scored 1,308 points for an average of 13.8 points per game. At the time of his induction, he ranked 3rd all-time on the Bearcats' career list with 1.63 steals per game. He scored a career-high 552 points as a senior in 1994-95, good for 7th all-time on the Willamette single season scoring list. That season, he averaged 17.3 points per game and also led the team with 66 steals and 20 blocked shots. In 1995, he earned First Team NAIA All-American honors and was named to the NAIA All-National Tournament Team.
