Lisa (Starkey) Ott registered NCAA Division III All-America honors in track and field twice, as she finished fourth at the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter run in 2000 and 2001. She won the 1,500-meter run in 4:48 (PR) and the 800-meter run in 2:15.88 (PR) at the 2001 Northwest Conference Meet after winning the NWC title in the 800-meter run in 2000. At the time of induction, she was WU's record holder at 800 meters (2:09.19 in 2001). She finished 10th at the NWC Cross Country Meet in 2000, while helping lead Willamette to its first women's cross country title. She was awarded All-NWC honors as a junior in cross country and placed 30th at the West Regional (Hon. Mention All-Region). Starkey Ott's top time at 4,000 meters in cross country (15:04.5) places her ninth all-time at WU.
