SALEM, ORE. -- In an effort to accommodate the weather forecast and field conditions, the Willamette University and Pacific Lutheran University baseball teams have adjusted their Northwest Conference schedule for this weekend. The Bearcats will take on the Lutes in a single game on Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. (PST) and the teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday, March 4, starting at 11 a.m. (PST).

All three contests will be played at Willamette's John Lewis Field.

Willamette and PLU were originally slated to play a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.

With the forecast suggesting a chance of rain on Saturday and mostly sunshine on Sunday, the schedule change was designed to increase the chances of completing all three games.

The Bearcats enter the weekend with a 2-8 overall record, while Pacific Lutheran is 5-4 on the season. Both teams will be opening Northwest Conference play on Saturday.

Willamette will be providing Live Stats throughout the three-game set. Full Access Sports will produce a free Live Audio Webcast of Saturday's game, starting at approximately 1:45 p.m. (PST).

Tosh Semlacher is hitting .345 this season.
