SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University baseball game scheduled for Wednesday, April 4 against crosstown rival Corban University has been canceled due to the weather. The non-conference game was slated to be played at Willamette's John Lewis Field. No make-up date has been determined.

Willamette is 8-18 on the season and 5-10 in the Northwest Conference. The Bearcats have an open weekend on the NWC schedule this week, so Willamette's next game is set for Tuesday, April 10 against Pacific University.

The game, originally scheduled to be a road game for the Bearcats, has been changed to be a Willamette home game. First pitch at John Lewis Field is set for 4 p.m. (PDT). Although the Bearcats and the Boxers are NWC rivals the game will be a non-conference contest.

Sky Kelley is tied for first place in the Northwest Conference with seven home runs this season.
