Game with UW-Stevens Point is Canceled; Bearcats to Play at Linfield on Jan. 1

SALEM, Ore. -- The men's basketball game between Willamette University and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 28, has been canceled after the Pointers were unable to find a new flight to Oregon. Willamette has added a non-conference men's basketball game at Linfield University on Saturday, Jan. 1. Game time in McMinnville, Oregon, is set for 2 p.m. (PST).

The Pointers had hoped to start a series of games against West Coast opponents by taking on the Bearcats on Tuesday, but UWSP's flight was canceled. No alternative flight was found.

Willamette is scheduled to play Nebraska Wesleyan University at Cone Field House on Thursday, Dec. 30. Game time is slated for 5 p.m. (PST). The Bearcats will then travel to McMinnville on Saturday to take on the Wildcats.
