NEWBERG, ORE. -- The George Fox Men's Invitational was delayed at the start on Saturday, Sept. 19 due to heavy traffic on the course. Action did get underway, but the first round was not completed due to darkness. The round will resume on Sunday, Sept. 20 prior to the start of the previously-scheduled second round.
Scores were not available from Saturday's partial round. The two-day event is the first tournament on the Willamette men's golf schedule this fall.
Shane Adversalo is one of three seniors on the 2009-10 Willamette men's golf team.
