SALEM, ORE. -- Statistics from the second day of the Capital Classic in men's soccer will be available on the Internet as the games are being played. Both matches will be held at Sparks Field on the Willamette University campus, with George Fox University facing Warner Pacific College at 4:30 p.m. (PDT), followed by Willamette against crosstown rival Corban College at 7 p.m.
Live Stats will show the current score, as well as shots, saves and a running play-by-play for both games on Saturday. From the Willamette Athletics page, choose Multimedia, then Live Stats, then Men's Soccer. We hope you'll also view the statistics throughout the season during Willamette's home games.
In the first round of the Capital Classic, Warner Pacific defeated Willamette, 5-1, and Corban edged George Fox, 1-0. The games were played at Warrior Field on the Corban campus. Willamette and Corban are co-hosts for the tournament.
