SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's soccer team is hosting the first of two Recruit Weekends starting Friday, Feb. 13 and continuing on Saturday, Feb. 14. The weekend provides an opportunity for soccer players to see the Willamette campus, visit with admissions and financial aid counselors, meet with Head Coach Nelson Larson and stay with team members in campus dorms.

The second Recruit Weekend is scheduled for April 17-18, 2009. Players interested in attending the Recruit Weekend should contact Coach Larson by e-mail at nlarson@willamette.edu or by phone at (503) 853-6876.

Willamette competes in NCAA Division III. WU also is a member of the Northwest Conference, which also includes George Fox University, Linfield College, Pacific University, Pacific Lutheran University, the University of Puget Sound, Whitman College and Whitworth University in men's soccer. Lewis & Clark College is a member of the NWC, but does not compete in men's soccer.
