SALEM, Ore. -- Former Willamette University men's soccer player Trevor Jensen ('14) will return to Sparks Field on Friday, June 10 when the Kitsap Pumas take on the Portland Timbers U-23s in a USL Premier Development League Northwest Division game at 7:30 p.m. (PDT).

Tickets will be $5 for adults and $2 for students. No tickets will be sold in advance, but all tickets will be sold at the gate immediately prior to the game.

Jensen, a midfielder, played four years of soccer for the Bearcats, including an outstanding senior season in the fall of 2013, when he started all 19 games and led the Bearcats with 10 goals, seven assists and 27 total points. At the end of the 2013 season, he was named First Team All-Northwest Conference and Third Team All-West Region. In 2012, he earned Second Team All-NWC honors.

His efforts allowed Jensen to set a Willamette record with 18 career assists. He tied the Bearcats' single season record with eight assists in 2012.

Jensen scored two hat tricks during his career with the Bearcats, putting in three goals in a pair of 3-2 wins over Linfield College in 2012 and 2013. In the 2013 match-up, his third goal was the winner with 21 seconds left in the second overtime of his final collegiate game.

In 2014, Jensen began playing with the Kitsap Pumas. He helped Kitsap win PDL Northwest Division titles in 2014 and 2015. He also contributed to Kitsap reaching the PDL National Championship game during the 2014 season.

This year, he has played in 11 games -- all starts -- and has provided the Pumas with three goals. Kitsap is currently 8-4-3 in all competitions, including 1-3-2 in the Northwest Division. The Portland Timbers U-23s are 1-3-3 in Northwest Division play.

In addition to competing in the PDL, Kitsap also participates in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Pumas have reached the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup and will take on the Seattle Sounder of Major League Soccer on June 15 at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Washington.
