Free Chalk Talk Prior to Women's Basketball Game on Sunday, Dec. 2

First Event for Courtside Club

SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University Courtside Club will host a free Chalk Talk on Sunday, Dec. 2 prior to the women's basketball game between the Bearcats and Lewis-Clark State College at Cone Field House. The Chalk Talk will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Honors Classroom inside the Sparks Athletic Center.

The Chalk Talk will feature an informal "Q & A with Peg" involving Head Coach Peg Swadener from the Willamette women's team. Swadener is in her first season after being the associate head coach at Portland State University. Swadener was at Portland State for five seasons, including four as the associate head coach.

Prior to coaching at Portland State, Swadener served as an assistant coach at Boise State University, Idaho State University, the University of Oregon and Princeton University.

The Courthouse Club is a group supporting the Willamette men's basketball and women's basketball teams.

Willamette's game with Lewis-Clark State College will begin at 4:30 p.m. (PST).

The Courtside Club Chalk Talk prior to the women's basketball game on Sunday, Dec. 2 is open to the public.
