SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University basketball teams invite you to support the American Brain Tumor Association as they host Play for ABTA games on Friday, Jan. 21.

Watch the Bearcats as they take on Linfield University, with the women's game at 6 p.m. (PST) and the men at 8 p.m. There will be prizes, raffles, competitions, and a photo booth with Blitz! All of the proceeds (100%) will benefit the American Brain Tumor Association. You can also help the Willamette Bearcats support the ABTA by making a donation at wubearcats.com/ABTA.

There are 700,000 people in the U.S. living with a brain tumor and an additional 500 people are diagnosed every day. Funds raised by the American Brain Tumor Association allow the organization to provide vital brain tumor resources to patients and their families, fund promising research studies, and conduct nationwide brain tumor educational programs.

This is an important cause to the Willamette Athletics community and we appreciate your support! Anything you can give helps!

Amanda Carpenter, whose mother died this past August after a battle with a brain tumor, shares her family's story.
