SALEM, Ore. -- Tati Klenk (Sr., ATT, Truckee, CA/Tahoe Truckee HS) from Willamette University has been selected as the Northwest Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week for her efforts in three games during the week ending on Sunday, April 9. Willamette won all three games, defeating California Lutheran University 23-3, downing Pacific University 18-4, and outscoring Linfield University 20-4.

Klenk scored 21 goals and one assist in the three games. She tallied six goals against California Lutheran, added seven goals against Pacific, and then put in eight goals versus Linfield. Klenk took 33 shots during the week, including 27 shots on goal. She now holds Willamette's single season record with 57 goals and is the first player in WU lacrosse history to reach the 50-goal mark.

Her eight goals against the Wildcats rank second on WU's all-time list. The school record for goals in a game is nine, set by Anabel Ohsman at the University of Dallas on March 24, 2019.

Willamette's victories over NWC rivals Pacific and Linfield allowed the Bearcats to clinch a berth in the four-team NWC Tournament, set for Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23. The Bearcats are 10-4 overall and 7-3 in the NWC. Willamette holds third place in the NWC standings.

The Bearcats will host Whitworth University and Whitman College this weekend at Sparks Field. The Bearcats and Whitworth will play on Saturday, April 15 at 1 p.m. (PDT). Willamette and the Blues will battle on Sunday, April 16, also at 1 p.m.
