WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Willamette University surged out to an 11-1 halftime lead on its way to a 16-7 win over Whitman College on Saturday, April 27. The Bearcats, who outscored the Blues 6-1 in the first quarter and 5-0 in the second quarter, improved to 12-3 on the season and to 9-2 in the Northwest Conference.
