NEWBERG, Ore. -- Due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the Northwest Conference doubleheader in women's soccer and men's soccer between George Fox University and Willamette University has been rescheduled. The games will now be played on Wednesday, April 8, with the women's game at 4:30 p.m. (PDT) and the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

George Fox, Willamette, and the Northwest Conference are committed to the health and safety of student-athletes. The conference and its members continue to monitor and work within local, state, federal and NCAA health directives.

Willamette's next games are scheduled for this weekend. The women's team will take on George Fox at 4 p.m. (PDT) on Saturday, March 27 at Sparks Field in Salem, Ore. The men's team will compete against GFU at 4 p.m. (PDT) on Sunday, March 28, also at Sparks Field. Spectators are not permitted at athletic events.
