Willamette and Pacific Move Women's Tennis Match Indoors

Teams will Compete at the Courthouse Tennis Center in Salem

SALEM, ORE. -- The women's tennis match between Willamette University and Pacific University on Saturday, March 31 has been moved indoors to the Courthouse Tennis Center (1379 Madison St. NE) due to the weather. Match time is 4 p.m. (PDT). Willamette and Pacific were originally scheduled to play their Northwest Conference match earlier in the afternoon at the WU Tennis Courts.

Willamette, 5-6 on the season and 3-4 in the NWC, hopes to avenge a 5-4 loss to the Boxers on Feb. 25 in Forest Grove, Ore. Pacific enters Saturday's match with a 6-8 overall record, including 5-4 in the NWC.

Following Saturday's contest, the Bearcats are scheduled to play three consecutive road matches at Whitworth University, Whitman College and George Fox University. Willamette will close out the regular season by hosting Pacific Lutheran University at the WU Tennis Courts on Saturday, March 14.

Sabrina Gutierrez is 6-5 in singles matches this spring.
