SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University women's tennis team will not be playing two matches in Tacoma, Washington, this weekend as originally planned after non-conference matches against Pacific Lutheran University and University of Puget Sound were postponed due to the weather. The two matches were slated to be the Bearcats' first action of the season. No make-up dates have been determined.

Willamette was set to play at Pacific Lutheran on Saturday, Feb. 9, followed by a match at Puget Sound on Sunday, Feb. 10. Willamette's spring opener is now set for Feb. 23, when the Bearcats will take on George Fox University in a non-conference match in Newberg, Oregon.
