Maddie White, ATC, LAT, is the newest member of the Willamette University sports medicine team, serving as an assistant athletic trainer.'

White graduated magna cum laude from Eckerd College in 2021 with a B.S. in Molecular Biology. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree, White also worked as a volunteer EMT on the Eckerd College Emergency Response Team serving members of the community in their times of need. White then pursued a M.S. in Athletic Training, graduating class valedictorian from Pacific University in 2024.

While pursuing her master’s degree, White completed a semester-long clinical rotation at Willamette University in Fall 2023. White worked primarily with the football team but returned to work a handful of events after the football season ended.

Before being hired at Willamette, White combined her emergency medicine and athletic training skills and served as an Industrial Medic with Gunderson Marine in Portland.
