Stepp Fourth in High Jump at Whitworth Invitational

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Willamette University women's track and field team traveled north and east to compete in the Whitworth University Indoor Invitational on Saturday, February 10 at The Podium. The Bearcats had some strong performances in the 33-team field.

Morgan Shaw (Fy., Redmond, OR/Ridgeview HS) was just shy of the top 20 in the mile, clocking a personal-best time of 5:25.10 to cross the line 21st.

Whitley Stepp (So., Silverton, OR/Regis HS) had another good showing in the high jump, placing fourth with a height of 5' 3.75".

Erica Snyder (So., Longview, WA/Mark Morris HS) came across the line with a personal-best time of 10.20 seconds in the 60-meter hurdle prelims.

The Bearcats return to George Fox University on Saturday, February 17 for the Bruins' second indoor invitational of the season.
