SALEM, ORE. -- Ryan Miller, who served as the interim head coach of the men's and women's rowing teams at Willamette University this past year, has been promoted to head coach of both teams, Athletic Director David Rigsby announced today. Miler was an assistant coach with the Bearcats in the spring of 2011 before being named interim head coach for the 2011-12 season.

Willamette, which competes in NCAA Division III in women's rowing, trailed only Seattle Pacific University, from NCAA Division II, in the petite final.
