Platano was named to the College Division Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America Team.

Symmonds Finishes Second in 800 at Adidas Grand PrixJune 13, 2010NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Nick Symmonds '06, who competed for Willamette University in track and field and cross country from 2002-03 through 2005-06, took second place in the 800-meter run against a strong field at the Adidas Grand Prix on Saturday, June 12. Mattox Wins Steeplechase at Oregon Relays in 10:41.78April 30, 2010EUGENE, ORE. -- Kimber Mattox (So., Bend, OR/Bend HS/Cornell Univ.) of Willamette University won the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Oregon Relays on Friday, April 30, with a time of 10:41.78. She won the event by 4.02 seconds, while lowering her NCAA provisional qualifying time by nearly seven seconds.
