• Bearcat Women's Tennis Team Receives ITA All-Academic Recognition

    SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's tennis squad has been selected as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the 2012-13 season as a result of the Bearcats' success in the classroom. The Bearcats qualified for the award by achieving a team cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

    PASADENA, CALIF. -- Caltech won all three doubles matches and added four wins in singles, as the Beavers defeated visiting Willamette University, 7-2, in women's tennis on Sunday, March 24 at the Braun Tennis Courts. The match opened Spring Break for the Bearcats, who will remain in the Los Angeles area to take on University of La Verne on March 25 and Whittier College on March 26.

Genena's win over Carlee Rhodaback gave WU a 5-3 lead moments before Pacific picked up the final point at #3 singles.
