    PORTLAND, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's golf team concluded its 2009-10 season on Sunday, April 25 at the Northwest Conference Championship, held at the Heron Lakes Golf Course in Portland, Ore. Whitworth University claimed the team title by three strokes over George Fox University.

    PORTLAND, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's golf team completed the first day of competition at the Northwest Conference Championship at the Heron Lakes Golf Course in Portland, Ore., on Saturday, April 24. Willamette held eighth place in the team standings. Whitworth University was the overall team leader by four strokes over George Fox University in second.

    SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's golf team will compete at the Northwest Conference Championship on Apr. 24-25. The women will compete on the Green Back course at Heron Lakes Golf Course in Portland, Ore. Tee times are set for 10 a.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. (PDT) Sunday.

    YAKIMA, WASH. -- The Willamette University women's golf team finished eighth in the team standings at the Northwest Conference Spring Classic on Sunday, April 11 at the Apple Tree Golf Course. George Fox University captured the overall title with a score of 665 (341-324).

Whitworth University holds first place with a team score of 331. The University of Puget Sound is in second place at 337.

    SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University took second place in the team standings at the Willamette Invitational in women's golf, hosted by the Bearcats on Monday, March 15 at the Illahe Hills Country Club. Linfield College earned the team title with an 18-hole score of 350, while Willamette followed with a score 402. Corban College placed third at 414 and Lewis & Clark College was fourth at 464.
  • Chung Claims Ninth Place at Puget Sound Invitational

    TACOMA, WASH. -- The Willamette University women's golf team placed fourth at the Puget Sound Invitational, as the two-day event ended on Friday, March 5 at the Fircrest Country Club. Haylee Chung (Fr., Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) led the Bearcats by finishing ninth on the leaderboard with a score of 185 (97-88) after improving her score by nine strokes over the first round.

    TACOMA, WASH. -- The Willamette University women's golf team has completed the first day of action at the Puget Sound Invitational at Fircrest Country Club on Thursday, March 4. The host Loggers from the University of Puget Sound currently sit in first place with a team score of 341after the first day.

    BANKS, ORE. -- Willamette University and seven other teams completed action at the Pacific Invitational in women's golf at the Quail Valley Golf Club on Sunday, Feb. 28. George Fox University had the best team score, finishing the event at 645 (320-325) to win by 60 strokes. George Fox was led by the individual winner Mandy Cameron, who carded a 77 in her first round and a 79 in her second round for a two-day total of 156.
  • First Round Partially Completed at Pacific Invitational in Women's Golf

    BANKS, ORE. -- Willamette University and seven other teams partially completed the first round of the Pacific Invitational in women's golf at the Quail Valley Golf Club on Saturday, Feb. 27.The teams did not finish the first round due to darkness and will continue play tomorrow morning, Sunday, Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. (PST). The second round also will be held on Sunday.

    PORTLAND, ORE. -- The Bearcats of Willamette University placed eighth at the Northwest Conference Women's Fall Classic, hosted by Lewis & Clark College at the Heron Lakes Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18. Willamette finished with a score of 818 (411-407).

    PORTLAND, ORE. -- Sophomore Alex Johnson (Salem, OR/Blanchet Catholic School) of Willamette shot an 87 and teammate Haylee Chung (Fr., Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) recorded a score of 90 to lead the Bearcats in the first round of the Northwest Conference Fall Classic on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Heron Lakes Golf Course. Willamette ended the day in eighth place in the team standings. Whitworth University was in first place with a score of 334.
  • Chung Finishes in Tie for Third at Linfield Invitational

    McMINNVILLE, ORE. -- Haylee Chung of Willamette University (Fr., Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) of Willamette University tied for third place at the Linfield Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 10. Linfield golfers Brynn Hurdus and Katie Kilborn shared the title after each carded an 83 at the Michelbook Country Club.
  • Chung Moves into 13th in Final Standings at Pacific Invitational

    BANKS, ORE. -- Freshman golfer Haylee Chung (Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) of Willamette University shot an 87 during the second day of the Pacific Invitational at the Quail Valley Golf Course on Sunday, Sept. 27 to move up four spots and take 13th place in the final individual standings. Chung, who shot a 93 in the first round, achieved a 36-hole score of 180.
  • Johnson Ties for Seventh on First Day of Pacific Invitational in Women's Golf

    BANKS, ORE. -- Alex Johnson (So., Salem, OR/Blanchet Catholic School) from Willamette University was tied for seventh place in the individual standings after the first round of the Pacific Invitational at the Quail Valley Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 26. Johnson and Abby Mann of George Fox University each carded an 87. Brianna Nap of George Fox held first place after shooting an 80.
  • Bearcats Finish Third at GFU Women's Invitational

    NEWBERG, ORE. -- Willamette University took third place in the team standings at the George Fox Women's Invitational at the Chehalem Glenn Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 19. The start of the tournament was delayed due to heavy traffic on the course, but a complete round was eventually played by all of the entries.

    NEWBERG, ORE. -- The George Fox Invitational in men's and women's golf was delayed at the start on Saturday, Sept. 19 due to heavy traffic on the course. Action did get underway, but results were not yet available as of 9:15 p.m. (PDT). It is possible that results from Saturday's round may not be available until Sunday.
